Young people in Liverpool are being encouraged to submit artwork or poems surrounding the issues of climate change in a competition which will be featured as part of an exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool in March.

The initiative is part of the Better by Bus campaign which has been encouraging people in the Liverpool City Region to travel by bus rather than car.

A judging panel will choose the winners that they feel have used their creativity to raise awareness of the effects of climate change.

Lisa Pearson, campaign conductor at Better by Bus said:

“Better by Bus is asking young people of the Liverpool City Region to get involved with the campaign because it’s their futures that will be most affected by climate change. We’re at a critical stage where meaningful action is the only way we can prevent causing further damage to our planet.”

Winners work will be on display at the Liverpool on wheels exhibition

To enter the competition, you must be aged between 5-16 and the closing date is Friday 21st February 2020.
